From Vice Principal Mary Scott: Tertulia at Newton South, April 11, 2013

Tertulia is an all day dance, music and performance celebration in memory of former student Maxine Chansky. Performers from Newton South and local dance companies along with vocal and instrumental groups fill out the day. It was originally funded by Maxine’s parents as a celebration of her life and is now in its twelfth year. Spanish teacher Viviana Planine, the Tertulia club, and performers have spent countless hours preparing for this spectacular event. This year, thanks to our tech guru Jason Agress, we are live streaming the Tertulia to the Student Center, Lecture Hall, and classrooms and you may watch the Tertulia from home or office using this link. I think you will be amazed.
