A Day of Community Service at Newton South – Sunday, April 28, 12:30-3:30PM – Spring Cleanup!

Take part in NewtonSERVES, a project of Newton Community Pride, Mayor’s Office for Cultural Affairs and the Newton Parks and Recreation Department, Sunday, April 28 from 12:30-3:30PM – rain or shine! We need LOTS of student and parent volunteers to weed Newton South gardens, pick up trash, spread mulch, and plant annuals. Bring your own gloves and tools (shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows – labeled please)! The PTSO will provide a pizza lunch for all and NewtonSERVES will provide t-shirts. Please sign up by email with the PTSO here so we know how many volunteers to expect. NOTE: Volunteers must also register with the City of Newton – click here to register.
