Newton South Stage presents “PG-13” – The Frosh Play – Nov. 14, 15 & 16

Don’t miss the freshman play, “PG-13,” a mashup of 10-minute plays directed by Arika Nabutovsky, on November 14, 15, 16 at 7:30PM in the Newton South Lab Theater. Each year South Stage produces a Frosh Play to welcome incoming freshmen into the world of high school theatre. There are no cuts in this audition process, and everyone gets a speaking part. This year, Ms. Nabutovsky has devised a full-length play made of short plays woven together and set in a fictional Newton Centre movie theater before the premiere of “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.” This diverse and eccentric collection of stories and characters has something for everyone…almost. As the title implies, the language and content (references to sex and suicide) may not be appropriate for little ones. General admission tickets are available for $8 in the cafeteria or at by clicking here.
