Understanding Our Differences (UOD) Program Seeks Student Volunteers

The Understanding Our Difference (UOD) program of Newton Public Schools, a disability awareness program, is looking for students who have food allergies and/or asthma. As a speaker, the student briefly explains to young students what it is like to have allergies and how they manage their allergies day-to-day. Speakers present a few times a year and receive an honorarium for each presentation.

If you are interested in being a student speaker or want more information about it, contact Debbie DeBotton. To learn more about this wonderful organization, check the UOD website.
