According to Girl’s Hockey Coach, Meg Lloyd, “Sydney Caminetsky and Marissa Gropman have been two stellar captains. Both started playing hockey in high school and they have both been great leaders of their teams. Marissa was a kind, caring and thoughtful captain of the JV crew. She played hard in games and worked hard in practices. She could be counted on to chat with a teammate who was feeling down, cheer on her team as well as the Varsity team. She is a fabulous captain and she will be missed next year. Sydney similarly could be counted on the Varsity team to work to 100% in every practice and every game. In fact, she had two goals this season, a very successful measurement of the heart that she puts into the game and towards the team. It has been fantastic to have both girls on our team this year, and we will miss them next year. We wish them the best of luck!”
