Please join experts from the Riverside Trauma Center for a parent/guardian evening. All are invited! Who should attend? Parents/guardians of seniors: preview the video, learn how the discussion will go, and take a look at the screening tool so (if your child is 17 or younger) you can decide whether to opt-in for the screening; also, learn about the signs of depression and the risk factors for suicide as you prepare to launch your senior. Parents/guardians of freshmen, sophomores, and juniors: learn about the signs of depression and the risk factors for suicide; find out what to expect if the Signs of Suicide program is rolled out to younger grades next year. For questions, please email Marlene Kenney, LICSW, City-wide Suicide Prevention and Wellness Specialist.
