In addition to your student’s Guidance Counselor, the Newton South nurses, Gail Kramer and Leslie Clark, are a great support service for any students feeling exhausted or overwhelmed. Recently, the PTSO purchased a Keurig machine for their office, so that when students need to come to the health room, they can have access to hot tea and hot chocolate. Plus, the nursing office has quiet places to rest, and kind, experienced staff to listen if students are in need. Students can stop by during a free block or get a pass from the teacher to stop in. If parents have questions, they are always welcome to call Gail and Leslie at 617-559-6575 or email Gail.
