Important Information about Registration for 2015 AP Exams

Newton South students intending to take AP exams this spring must register and pay for the exams by March 20, 2015. There are two parts to the process: Students must go to www.totalregistration.net  to register (registration is open now). Students must also sign a form in their AP classes that indicates if they will take the test. This form states that they will pay either the full cost of the exam ($95) or the cancellation fee ($15).

Once students have registered, they will be directed to print two copies of their registration. They must take one to Mrs. Jan O’Neil in room 7139, (across from the Main Office), along with a check made out to Newton South with “AP” written on the memo line.

At the time of online registration, students are required to sign up for one of the mandatory pre-administration sessions (in which students fill out the identification information on their answer sheets in advance of taking the exam). These pre-administration sessions will take place during lunch periods in April. If students do not attend a pre-administration session, they will not be allowed to take AP exams.

Any students with questions about eligibility for a reduced fee should see their guidance counselor. Students who are not enrolled in an AP course, but want to take the exam should email Mary Ann Price as soon as possible at MaryAnn_Price@newton.k12.ma.us.
