YOUR Help is Needed to make the Book Sale a Success!

We need your help — in person and/or donations — to make South’s Book Sale a success. Proceeds from the sale support the English Department’s literacy programming.

Volunteer an hour or two to help set up or work during the sale — Wednesday, May 20, through Friday, May 22. Volunteers are especially needed to help set up the sale on Wednesday morning. May 20 is a late start for all students except sophomores, so bring (or send!) your student(s) to help. It’s fun, and they’ll get a sneak peek at the sale offerings!

Donate gently used books — drop off books before or after school at the grey trailer next to Goldrick on Thursday or next Monday (7:15-8:15am, 2:15-3:15pm).

Encourage your student(s) to buy books at the sale — All paperbacks are $1, and hardcovers are $2. Students can buy next year’s “One School One Book” selection, “The Other Wes Moore” for only $10.

Book sale hours are Wed. (5/20) 11am – 4pm; Thurs. (5/21) 7:30am – 4pm; and Fri. (5/22) 7:30am – 2:30pm
