A Spanish-American Exchange Opportunity

A family in Spain has contacted us about the possibility of organizing a family-to-family exchange with a high school student in Newton. If you are interested, you can reach the family directly at the e-mail address listed below. Spanish teacher Maureen Maher (Maureen_Maher@newton.k12.ma.us) would also be happy to answer any questions you might have.

We are a Spanish family from Madrid with parents and two daughters, ages 15 and 18. Our youngest daughter, Paula, would love to experience an exchange with an American student. We propose inviting an American girl (approximately 15 years old as well) to spend a month with us this summer in Madrid, where she could improve her Spanish and visit other sites in Spain with us. Then, Paula could have a similar experience with your family in Boston, where she would hope to improve her English. Paula is a good student who is easy-going, likes music, film and sports, and is very curious about other countries and cultures. I would be delighted to share more information about our family and way of life with you if you are interested. I can be reached directly at jcamunarriz@gmail.com.
