Lizzy Wojiechowska, Girls Ice Hockey: Lizzy Wojiechowska is a superb teammate and a hockey player who never quits. She is consistently hustling to every single puck and always pushing toward the net. Lizzy constantly has a smile on her face and is always game for any task she is given. A moment that best exemplifies Lizzy occurred during a recent game against Wellesley. As a forward, her job is to dig the puck out of corners or support the other wing as they dig the puck out. As the crucial support player, Lizzy was in the exact location that she needed to be when the puck was mishandled by Wellesley. Lizzy jumped on the opportunity, grabbed the puck, and passed it out into the slot, where our oncoming defender, Cassie Terranova, was able to shoot and score. Of course, Lizzy was thrilled, as was our entire team. It is the same smile and work effort that we see each and every day from Lizzy—she is a total rock star and stellar role model for everyone on our team!
