Parents: after learning about the nuts and bolts of college applications, we invite you to join us to explore the more emotional aspects of the process. On Wednesday, February 1 from 7 to 8:30PM in the NSHS auditorium, the PTSO will sponsor Cindy Kaplan’s presentation, “Keep the Sanity, Lose the Stress! How to Support your Kid through the College Application Process.” Cindy has a Master’s in psychology and is a certified parent coach, and is also the parent of a Newton South senior. She will talk about tools and strategies you can use to help your child manage the stress of navigating the college application process. She will also discuss ways in which you can use the process as an opportunity to strengthen and enrich your relationship with your child.
