Senior captain Laura Hernandez is a true leader and role model for the Girls Gymnastics team. Despite being sidelined with an injury early in the season, Laura was a constant source of motivation and positivity for her team members and pushed them to be the best gymnasts they could be in every meet. She brought a new sense of camaraderie to the team this year, as she always made sure every member of the team was included in and out of the gym. Laura was determined to get back into the all-around competition before the end of the season, and when she did, she placed second at the league meet and qualified for the state individual meet! Laura will be a huge asset as the team heads into their sectional competition and will be greatly missed next year!
