We are way behind in book donations compared to previous years. YOUR help is needed to make South’s annual Used Book Sale a success! The sale funds important literacy initiatives at Newton South.
To donate books – drop off at school or arrange for pick-up:
Drop off gently used books at the big gray storage trailer (marked “BOOK DROP OFF HERE”) next to Goldrick House on Mondays and Thursdays, before or after school: 7:15-8:15am and 2:30-3:30pm
If you can’t drop off books, contact Andrew Szanton to arrange for pick up at your home. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements.
We’re most interested in books suitable for high school students — no children’s books (late middle school level and young adult books are welcome.) We do not accept textbooks, out-of-date travel or computer science books, parenting books, erotica, or moldy books.
The Book Sale‘s success depends on volunteers. Please join other NSHS parents and volunteer an hour or two. It’s fun and you’re helping a good cause.
