Senior athletes were celebrated this week as they completed the last home games of their careers. Boys Lacrosse honored seniors from Newton North and South at their annual game on May 25. Many supporters came to watch the game, braving the rain. The Girls Lacrosse team did it in big fashion by winning their game over Brookline to secure a spot at the State Tournament. The Baseball team presented their senior players with autographed bats, and the Boys tTennis team thanked their two seniors at the end of the match against Wayland. Our Softball seniors played their last home game on Saturday, May 27, and our Girls Tennis team defeated Acton-Boxborough at their last regular-season match. Thank you to our senior athletes for four wonderful years! Your leadership and commitment to your sport is recognized by all.
