Have some fun on Thursday, March 1, from 2:10-3:20 pm in the Field House while raising money to benefit the American Heart Association.
HeartChase is the American Heart Association’s good-cause competitive race with exciting physical activities that create awareness to prevent heart disease while also raising money to fund lifesaving research.
Teams compete against each other in fun, heart-healthy challenges that test knowledge and skill related to physical fitness, nutrition, and hands-only CPR. We would like to ask you, as members of the Newton community, to consider helping Newton South High School raise money for HeartChase through a financial or an in-kind donation (an in-kind donation would include gift cards or food for after the event). Financial support will help us reach our goal of $1,000, while in-kind donations will be used to support the event and all of our participants.
With your support, our school can make a great impact on the health of our students and community. The American Heart Association’s mission is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Your gift will help fight our Nation’s No. 1 and 4 killers, heart disease and stroke, by funding research, educational programs and advocacy efforts in our community.
