Jobs Programs as part of Post-Secondary Transition Programming:                            Districts’ Obligations and Best Practices

Speakers: Julia Landau and Jill Renolds

Julia Landau, Esq. of Mass. Advocates for Children, Senior Project Director of Special Education and the Autism Center, will present on districts’ obligations to provide jobs programs. Attorney Landau has contributed to legislation such as the Autism Omnibus Bill, and ARICA (requiring insurance to cover autism treatment).

Jill Reynolds, Director of Disability Jobs Programs, of Public Consulting Group will present on transition jobs programs best practices. Ms. Reynolds helps public entities like cities, school districts, and state organizations set up disability jobs programs and collecting best practices.
