“Opiods and Our Community” Panel Discussion — Thurs., Oct. 25

Please join us for a panel discussion and workshops entitled “Opioids and Our Community”, in which we’ll discuss the impact of opioids on Newton and focus on prevention and treatment of addiction. The event will take place on Thursday, October 25 from 6:30-8:30 pm at the First Baptist Church in Newton Centre.

Speakers will include Dr. Deb Youngblood, Commissioner of Health and Human Services for Newton, Mr. Brian DeLeskey, Intervention/Prevention Counselor, Newton South High
School and Dr. Scott Weiner, director of the opioid stewardship program of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and president of the Massachusetts College of Emergency Physicians. All are welcome, and food will be served. For registration and more information:
