What’s Happening at the West Suburban YMCA

Early Spring Registration Has Started!
Early Spring Session runs February 24th – April 19th. Sign up for swimming lessons, small fitness training classes, sports, or creative arts! There’s still availability in some of the classes. Register and find out more information here.

Try the Y for Free on Mondays in March
Mondays are free in March!? Stop by the Welcome Center with a valid ID and your guest fee will be waived.

Kids Night Out
Parents, drop off your kids for a fun Friday night with qualified staff members for a Kids Night Out. They’ll order pizza for dinner and keep the children entertained with games, swimming, movies and sports. $25.00 per child for Y members and $30.00 for the community. A 20% discount is offered per child for those with two or more children. Go out for the night and take advantage of this low-cost alternative to hiring a babysitter. Everyone wins!

Family Fun Night
Bring the whole family to the Y for some family fun time. Featuring arts & crafts, bouncy house, gym games and more! Free and open to all. Family Fun Nights occur on the second Tuesday of every month.

Have Fun Dancing Over February Break

Stay active over February break and learn some new dance moves! Students will enjoy a mix of dance styles along with fun games and arts and crafts! Open to boys and girls of all levels ages 3-6 years and 7-12 years. Join for 1 day or all 3!

This program is taught by the experienced faculty at the Joanne Langione Dance Center in West Newton. Learn more about JLDC’s 44 years of teaching dance to the Newton community, state-of-the-art facility and all class offerings for kids ages 6 mo – 18 years old at www.jldancecenter.com. February Vacation Week Programming February Vacation Week is around the corner! They offer three childcare programs from February 18th – 21th. Out of School Time Vacation Programs are structured similarly to a day at camp, with a mix of activities such as fun games, creative projects, and free swim. Sports Vacation Clinics may include soccer, basketball, baseball, swimming, and more. In addition, there are also new Creative Arts vacation programs!
