Don’t’ miss this year’s EMPTY BOWLS event on Thursday, November 7, 6-7:30PM in the Student Center – $10 Adults, $5 Students to Support Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen. Included in admission is a South-made ceramic bowl and homemade soup! Ceramics students and FOEBs (Friends of Empty Bowls) make over 200 bowls (to be purchased) and the Family and Consumer Science Department makes soup, served in the bowls. The NSHS Jazz Combo and Improv 2 & 3 will entertain throughout the meal. Last year’s evening was a delight for all the senses and raised over $1000 for the Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen.
After Empty Bowls, stroll over to the auditorium at 7:30PM for more music, including: Lab jazz, jazz ensemble, orchestra, wind ensemble, and symphonic band. Admission is free if you attend Empty Bowls! Otherwise, suggested concert ticket prices are $7 per person or $15 cap per family. As always, F&PA families/supporters are encouraged to help 30 minutes before the show with ticket sales. If available, please email Pamela Schoenberg Reider.
