PwC’s Financial Literacy Award recognizes educators who are helping their students develop responsible financial behaviors by prioritizing financial literacy curricula in our nation’s classrooms. Teachers submit a 1-3 minute video demonstrating how they brought financial education to life in the classroom using activities such as PwC’s financial literacy curriculum, the mobile app JA Build Your FutureTM or ideas learned from a PwC-KWHS Seminar for High School Educators on Business and Financial Responsibility and tying the lessons to real-world application.
Congratulations to Mr. Gleason, who submitted this video and won:
- $2,500 for Newton South High School to build its financial literacy capacity
- Certificate for Newton South recognizing its award.
- Priority entry for the teacher to the 2014 PwC and KWHS Seminar for High School Educators on Business and Financial Responsibility
