Shawheen Justin Rezaei, who graduated Newton South in 2013 and is entering his second year at Harvard University this fall, will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro –the highest mountain in all of Africa– in order to raise funds for the education of children in Tanzania. Currently interning for Make a Difference (MAD), a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides quality health coverage and education to children in need, Shawheen has become inspired by the children’s stories to embark on this journey! Shawheen will be climbing with one of the children to teach him the importance of sustaining his own education, but needs your help! Click here to read his story and contribute what you can to his cause.
