Ainissa Ramirez is a Science Evangelist and former Yale engineering professor who believes creativity is the secret sauce in STEM. She says ‘… the skills of the 21st century need us to create scholars that can link the unlinkable. These scholars must be willing to try many combinations before finding the right answer. They must be comfortable with concepts that they can play with in new ways.’ Newton South’s new STEAM lab will allow our students to play and make connections in a way they’ve not been able to do before. By helping to outfit the new STEAM lab, we will give our students the opportunity to innovate and improvise. We have raised over $14,000 of our $20,00 goal so far. Please add your donation to others to help us reach this goal!
