According to Alpine Ski Team Head Coach, Carol Hesson,”Jessica Landon encompasses the best traits of a student athlete. She is truly exceptional. Not only is she a fantastic skier, but also a great leader and supporter of her fellow athletes. She has also been an invaluable asset to the Ski Team coaching staff. She excels as an alpine ski racer and is currently the top racer on the team. She is also a natural leader, excelling in her role as one of the captains of the team. She leads by example and is always happy to help other athletes, whether by co-leading dryland practices or offering feedback on skier performance on the ski slope. Jessica is a great promoter of school spirit, setting up the school table on race days at the ski hill and making delicious baked goods for the team. She has been of significant assistance to the coaching staff and acts as the liaison between the team and coaches. She is a fantastic organizer and always has a great attitude. She is truly a joy to have on the team, and her fellow skiers are very fortunate to have her as a teammate.”
