The Spring season Lion’s Pride Day, held on March 24, was well attended and enjoyed by student athletes. The themes of this event at the start of each season include inspiration, fun, community service, and team-building across all sports. Athletic Director Pat Gonzalez was attending a conference on the Cape but was able to address the students by remote video. Assistant A.D. David Padgett and Boys Volleyball coach Todd Elwell projected her live feed on the big screen, and she was able to greet the students, ask for their participation, and emphasize the idea that we are all one team: SOUTH! Many thanks to Todd Elwell, David Padgett, Ted Dalicandro, Alan Rotatori, and all the coaches who came to be part of Lion’s Pride Day.
