September 21-25 is Concussion Awareness Week. Our soccer teams are participating in a state-wide initiative, ThinkTaylor, which is a partnership between the Taylor Twellman foundation and the MIAA to increase awareness, recognition, education, and treatment about concussions. As part of this initiative, our teams will be wearing orange and using special soccer balls for their games. Our varsity players also received terrycloth wristbands and bag tags. The balls and wrist bands were provided by Inaria. The bag tags were donated by BagTag, Inc. Come to our soccer games this Friday: Boys will play away at Cambridge, and Girls will host Cambridge, with both games at 4PM. Wear orange to raise awareness about this silent injury.
