Coach Rotatori let us know that the Strength and Conditioning Clinic have a large group of students participating. The athletes are following intense workouts and they come each early morning ready to excel.

Unified Strength and Conditioning team meets online each Wednesday. Eight partners and athletes form this new program at South. Coaches Strongin and Deleski report that the team is working hard and enjoying this new athletic opportunity.

The girls’ Co-Op Hockey team completed a four games-series vs Braintree. The Crush tied one game, won one game, and dropped 2 vs the Wamps. They are practicing this week while waiting for the Walpole team health report.

The boys’ gymnastics team opened their virtual season on Tuesday. The scoring will be released when their opponent completes the series this weekend.

The boys’ hockey team hosted Concord Carlisle last Sunday. The game was to overtime with Nathan Cohen scoring the winning goal with 5 sec left in the OT.

The team traveled to CRL on Wednesday. The teams played a close game with CRL leaving with a 3-2 victory. at the Simoni Rink.

The JV hockey team will travel to Murphy Rink in South Boston on Saturday to play BLS. They will host the Wolfpack on Sunday at 5:40 PM at the JAR

The Boys basketball team opened the long 2 weeks series vs LS on Tuesday. The team played strong basketball with game leaders changing often during the night. LS run away with the win at the end of the 4th quarter. The Lions will travel to LS on Friday to look for a W.

The girls’ Basketball team opened its series with Cambridge win a win by ample margin. They will host the Falcons Varsity team on Friday and their JV team on Saturday.

The Blue and the Orange teams will travel to LS on Wednesday, January 27. Both games will start at 4:45 PM. The teams will host LS on Saturday, January 30 at 9 Am (9th grade) and 11 AM (JV). Links for those games will be distributed closer to the game dates.

The Alpine Ski team raced on Thursday at Nashoba. The team competed in their first slalom race of the season.

The Nordic Ski team competed at Weston on their third race of the season. Coach Riklin reports that the team is having lots of fun and enjoying their time at the course.

The Swim and Diving team competed against WA this week. Our team faced a very strong opponent and matched them stroke by stroke with our swimmers improving their times.
