Funds Classroom Innovation
- Gives teachers grants to enhance curriculum, keeping teachers and students excited
- Gives department-level funds to supplement critical classroom supplies and materials
Grows Your Community Network
- Maintains the school-wide Directory to foster connections among families
- Communicates with families weekly through PTSO newsletter — the primary vehicle for all NSHS & community information
- Maintains the PTSO website with easy-to-find information for all families
- Acknowledges and energizes our wonderful faculty with Staff Appreciation breakfasts and lunches
- Connects and educates parents through summer with ‘What to Expect Meet and Greets and “Informational Coffee” events throughout the year
Enhances Student Life
- Organizes and funds grade-wide and school-wide student social events

§ Freshman Ice Cream Truck Social
§ SouthFest – Senior Prom After Party
§ Senior Send-off Lunch - Contributes funding to school-based student-let initiatives
