Green Newton Covid-19 Memorial Trees Project

Green Newton Covid-19 Memorial Trees 4C Project: Plant Trees at Newton South to Honor Those Who Lost Their Lives to Covid in Newton. The goals of the 4C Tree Project (Capture Carbon Commemorate Covid) are to provide a beautiful living memorial to neighbors lost to Covid-19, remind us of our need to care for each other, and to capture carbon by planting trees to help address climate change. The city forester has identified Newton South as a site to plant memorial trees. We hope that the South community will come together to help fund these trees and show that we care.
