Are you interested in singing? Looking for an a cappella group? We are seeking new members from all grades to join the Newton South Newtones!

• Wednesday September 30th at 6:15pm at the Brown/Oak Hill field.  If you plan on coming to the in person session please come wearing a mask!

The meetings are no commitment so no worries if you end up deciding this isn’t the group for you. They’re simply an easy way to get info and to meet/see our group! You don’t have to come to both meetings; they will have the same info. If you can’t make it to either session, don’t worry because we will have the recorded zoom webinar up on our YouTube and likely IGTV as well ASAP following the zoom. If you know anyone at Newton South who may be interested in auditioning for this award-winning, fun group, please spread the word! The PTSO School Directory is an online and printed version of Newton South Students and their contact information.  Please confirm your information today (10/1/2020)  in order for the PTSO to include your most up to date contact information in the printed and online directory. 

As part of the confirmation process, you can indicate any information you want to opt-out of releasing. The PTSO School Directory is only available to the current South community – enrolled families, teachers, and staff at Newton South High School.  Membership is required to gain access to the Directory.

The PTSO also relies on the Dues Campaign to raise the necessary funds this year to support our programs.  We need your help to reach our goal of $44,000.  If you are able to contribute, please choose the option that best suits your family.  This can be done as you confirm your information or CLICK HERE to CONTRIBUTE to the PTSO.    Thank you.

The PTSO is launching our Mentoring/Family Connection Program for Students and Families to help build new connections in our school community.  

Newton South Spirit Wear will be on sale on Friday, October 2nd from 8am – 4pm.

Newton South has Facebook Groups for each graduating class. These groups are not part of the PTSO or Newton South. These are private groups at Newton South and are just another forum for connecting in that graduating class.

The Facebook groups are set up as private, requiring membership, and voluntarily managed by Newton South parents/guardians. The Administrators would monitor the page and approve membership.
